German born Darja O'Donnell, née Lingenberg, is the founder of D Model Management, a boutique model and talent agency established in 2011 in Cape Town. A former international model for over 15 years residing in London, New York and Paris, she brings firsthand industry insight to her work as an agent, mentor, and talent developer. Having begun her career in front of the camera in the 1990s, Darja later transitioned into representation, where she built her agency on a foundation of trust, professionalism, and a deeply personal approach to developing talent.

Today, D Model Management represents women, men, kids and commercial talent. Developing talent locally, working with leading photographers, brands, and agencies both locally and internationally. With a strong focus on scouting, career guidance, and meaningful long-term development, the agency is dedicated to creating opportunities across fashion, advertising, in South Africa and beyond. Darja always has had a direct involvement in discovering new faces, and a personal hand on approach in guiding her models to have lasting careers and building lasting industry relationships.
